Who is responsible
The data controller for this website is:
Alexander Hanes, trading as Bridge-HUB
Company in formation, Denmark
alexander@bridge-hub.net
Once the company is registered, it takes over as data controller and we will update this section with its legal name, address and CVR number.
Write to this address for any question about your data or to use your rights.
What we collect
- Operations diagnostic form: your name, work email, company, country, type of operation and, if you choose to add it, a note about where your shipments lose time or money.
- Contact form: your name, email, the subject you pick and your message.
- Emails you send us: your address and whatever you write.
- Usage data, only if you accept analytics cookies: Google Analytics records the pages you visit, how long you stay, how you reached the site, your device and browser type, and your approximate location (country or city). It uses a pseudonymous identifier, not your name or email.
- Technical data: when a page loads, your IP address and browser details reach our hosting and font providers, as with any website.
We do not ask for sensitive personal data. Please do not include it in a message.
Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To reply to you and schedule an operations diagnostic. This is a step you asked for before any agreement (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)).
- To understand whether Bridge-HUB fits your operation, using what you told us about your company and lanes. This is our legitimate interest in preparing a relevant diagnostic (Art. 6(1)(f)).
- To understand how the website is used and improve it, with Google Analytics. Only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules on cookies). You can withdraw it at any time.
- To keep the website running and secure. Our legitimate interest in operating the site (Art. 6(1)(f)).
We do not send newsletters or marketing emails unless you separately agree to receive them. We do not sell your data, and we do not use Google Analytics for advertising, remarketing or Google Signals.
Who processes it for us
- Netlify hosts this website and receives the form submissions.
- Google Analytics, provided by Google Ireland Limited, measures how the site is used, only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Google Fonts delivers the typefaces, so your browser contacts Google's servers when a page loads.
- jsDelivr delivers the code library for the interactive 3D scene.
- Our email provider stores the emails we exchange with you.
Each acts on our behalf or as a technical service provider, under its own data processing terms. The LinkedIn links only contact LinkedIn when you click them.
Transfers outside the EU
Some of these providers, including Google, are based in the United States or use servers there. Where data leaves the EU or EEA, the transfer is covered by the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Diagnostic requests: until the diagnostic programme ends, and no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you.
- Contact messages and emails: up to 12 months after the conversation ends, unless they lead to an agreement.
- Google Analytics data: 14 months, after which Google deletes it. The analytics cookies themselves expire after up to 2 years, or when you withdraw consent or clear them.
You can ask us to delete your details at any time.
Cookies and analytics
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. With your consent, it sets analytics cookies from Google Analytics:
- _ga: tells visits apart with a pseudonymous ID. Expires after 2 years.
- _ga_<ID>: keeps the state of your visit. Expires after 2 years.
These cookies are set only after you choose to accept analytics in the cookie banner. If you decline, Google Analytics does not run. You can change your choice at any time with the cookie settings link in the footer, or by clearing cookies in your browser.
Your browser's local storage also keeps your language and colour theme on your own device. They are never sent to us.
Your rights
You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or receive it in a portable format. Where you gave consent, you can withdraw it at any time. Email alexander@bridge-hub.net and we will reply within one month.
You can also complain to a data protection authority: in Denmark, Datatilsynet, or the authority where you live or work.
Security and product data
The website is served over HTTPS, and access to form submissions is limited to the people who reply to them. This policy covers the website only. Shipment documents processed in a pilot or in the product are covered by a separate agreement and data processing agreement with your company.
Changes to this policy
When we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date at the top.
